Donations can be made to Aviva Senior Living as an In Honor Of gift marking a special occasion, or In Memory Of gifts as a memorial at the passing of a loved one, family member or friend. Tribute cards are sent to the family or friend with a special message.

Yahrzeit Memorial Plaques are used in Jewish tradition to honor and remember deceased loved ones. The Yahrzeit plaques have a small light next to them. This light is illuminated annually on the anniversary of the death and during Yizkor services, which are memorial prayers recited on certain Jewish holidays. Yahrzeit Plaques are installed in the Anchin Chapel. The Tribute Bricks are placed in the Memorial Garden on the walkway behind Kobernick House. These plaques and bricks memorialize a loved one or celebrate a special occasion.

Naming and Sponsorship opportunities offer a unique way to recognize and honor donors who have made substantial contributions to the organization. These opportunities provide long-term recognition, creating a lasting legacy for their family.

Your gifts have an immediate impact on our community, allowing Aviva to provide extraordinary care and services. Please review the following giving methods and timelines, determined by the IRS, to ensure your gift is processed and you receive a tax receipt for the current calendar year.

• Credit Card: Credit card donations can be made easily and quickly.  CLICK HERE to make your gift.

• Mutual Funds: Gifts of mutual funds can take as long as six weeks to complete. Please check with your broker on their internal process and initiate the transfer accordingly.

• Qualified Charitable Distributions (IRA Charitable Rollover): Those 70 1/2 or older can donate up to $100,000 to charitable organizations directly from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Notify your plan administrator if you intend to make a gift from your IRA.

• Stock: Contact your brokerage firm for specific instructions and timing for publicly traded stock. Stock transfers may take up to four days to complete the process.

• Wire Transfer: Submit a transfer request to your financial institution.
