Marie Brown, the founder of Aviva Senior Living, believed a community could do more and be more for older Sarasota area residents. Together with a group of dedicated volunteers, Marie gave life to a promise in the form of Aviva. That promise was to provide a community built on Jewish values where seniors could live extraordinary lives by embracing wellness, life-enriching activities, illness prevention and dynamic social interaction. Marie’s vision in 1993 remains at the heart of everything we do and offer here at Aviva. As we look to the future, we remain committed to enriching lives, fostering community, and creating innovative opportunities for older adults to thrive at every stage of life.
